I arktiske omgivelser arrangeres Marked for Musikk i Bodø 2024 for første gang utenfor Larvik.

Marked for Musikk kickstarter med en gåtur til byfjellet «Keiservarden» for å inspirere, skape forståelse for det arktiske miljøet og sette tonen for tre inkluderende dager nord for Polarsirkelen. Etter turen blir det velkomstmiddag på kaikanten like ved festivalhotellet Smart Hotel Bodø.

Bodø 2024 er det største kulturprosjektet i Norge på over 10 år og det største i Nord-Norge noensinne. Nord for Polarsirkelen – på 67 grader nord – skal det arrangeres over 1 000 kulturarrangementer i løpet av et helt år. Rammen kunne ikke ha vært bedre; Nordland fylke er nemlig et slags Norge i miniatyr.

Welcome to Marked for Musikk, Bodø 2024!
Nordland is the place to be in 2024, with the county capital Bodø being selected as European Capital of Culture for the year. Get ready for a unique experience north of the Arctic Circle!
Marked for Musikk, Bodø 2024 (MfM) marks the first time the MFM event is arranged outside of Larvik.
Spectacular surroundings
In addition to great music and showcases, Marked for Musikk, Bodø 2024 will provide attendees with a unique opportunity to experience the arctic landscape. Bodø is surrounded by beautiful mountains, fjords and islands, creating a spectacular setting for the event. Read more about the region here.
We will jump-start Marked for Musikk with a hike to the city mountain Keiservarden to really prepare our attendees for three inspiring days north of the Arctic Circle. After the hike there will be a reception and dinner by the quayside close to the festival hotel Smarthotel Bodø.

About Bodø2024
Bodø2024 is the largest cultural project in Norway in over 10 years and the largest ever in Northern Norway. North of the Arctic Circle, at 67 degrees north, more than 1 000 events are scheduled to take place over the course of the year.
