Bli med på konsertproduksjon!
Produsentforum er en fast del av YAMsession, og det er nå tredje gang vi har produsentforum i Larvik. Kort forklart er produsentforum «live konsertproduksjon». På tirsdagen får vi oppleve konserten Peace out to revolution. Konserten er ikke enda produsert eller tilpasset en ung målgruppe. To erfarne musikkprodusenter samarbeider med musikerne om å utvikle produksjonen tilpasset en ung målgruppe. Resultatet av deres jobb får vi se onsdag ettermiddag.
Hvem er produsentforum relevant for?
Produsentforum er en interessant og lærerik seanse for alle som jobber med performativ kunst, spesielt for de som jobber med å utvikle nye produksjoner. Ved å oppleve første og siste konsert og få innblikk på hvilke grep og forandringer som er gjort underveis, får man se hvordan man kan utvikle en musikkproduksjon. Deltakerne oppfordres til å komme med sine innspill og refleksjoner i samtaler etter visningene.
Visningen på onsdag vil være relevant for alle som leter etter produksjoner for ungdom.
PEACE OUT TO REVOLUTION:
Peace out to Revolution er et musikalsk prosjekt med fokus på bevisstgjøring og mangfold. Med sjangere som reggae, afrobeat, hip hop, soul og r&b vil bandet vise frem noen av skattene svart kultur har gitt oss. Peace out to Revolution ønsker å sette lys på kampen, men også feire hvor langt vi har kommet.
Join in on concert production!
Producers’ forum is a fixed part of YAMsession, arranged for the third time in Larvik. In short terms, Producers’ Forum is «live concert production». On Tuesday we get to experience the concert Peace out to revolution. The concert has not yet been produced or adapted to a younger audience. Two experienced music producers are collaborating with the musicians to develop the production to suit the target audience. The result of their work will be shown Wednesday afternoon.
Who is Producers’ Forum relevant to?
It is an interesting and educational session for anyone working with performative arts, especially for those working to develop new productions. By attending the first and last of the concerts and being given insight into the changes made along the way, you get to see how to develop a music production. The participants are encouraged to provide input and reflections during conversations after the sessions. Wednesday’s session will be relevant to everyone looking for youth productions.
PEACE OUT TO REVOLUTION:
Peace out to Revolution is a musical project focused on diversity and raising awareness. With genres like reggae, afrobeat, hip hop, soul and R&B, the band wishes to show off some of the treasures black culture has given us. Peace out to Revolution wishes to highlight the struggle, as well as celebrate how far we have come.

Forestillingsskaper og førstelektor ved Wimbledon College of Art, UAL / Annet arbeid: Installasjonskunst London Wall, rundt 1980 på V&A. Hun var kunstner og med-kurator for den multi-disiplinære utstillingen ‘Re-introducing Oshun’ ved Shonibare Studios og Lyric Hammersmith. Hun var stabsdirektør for anerkjente Barbershop Chronicles og turnerte internasjonalt. Hun fremførte i Exhibit B på Midwinter Festivalen i Tallinn, Galway International Arts Festival og Asian Arts Theatre Festival i Gwangju, Sør-Korea.
Stella Odunlami
is a performance-maker and Senior Lecturer at Wimbledon College of Art, UAL. Other work includes: installation piece London Wall: 1980 something at the V&A. She was artist and co-curator for the multi-disciplinary exhibition Re-introducing Oshun at the Shonibare Studios and Lyric Hammersmith. She was Staff Director on acclaimed Barbershop Chronicles and toured the piece internationally. She performed in Exhibit B at the Midwinter Festival Tallinn, the Galway International Arts Festival and the Asian Arts Theatre Festival, Gwangju.
Inua Ellams
Poet, manusforfatter og skuespiller, grafisk kunstner og designer født i Nigeria. Han er Complete Works dikter-alumni, og organiserer workshops i Creative Writing hvor han utforsker temaer som gjentar seg i verkene hans – Identitet, Fortrengning og Skjebne – på lett tilgjengelige, fornøyelige måter for deltagere i alle aldre og alle typer bakgrunn. Han har fått oppdrag av Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre, Tate Modern, Louis Vuitton, BBC Radio & Television.
Inua Ellams
Born in Nigeria, Inua Ellams is a poet, playwright & performer, graphic artist & designer. Complete Works poet alumni and facilitates workshops in creative writing where he explores reoccurring themes in his work – Identity, Displacement and Destiny – in accessible, enjoyable ways for participants of all ages and backgrounds. He has been commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre, Tate Modern, Louis Vuitton, BBC Radio & Television.
