AMORS VARME

In Amor’s warmth the aim is to alleviate pain with comfort and care, but ultimately music is what stops the pain. Children and adults are brought back to the Baroque era, with music composed by Eivind Buene, based on a fragment of Henry Purcell’s aria from the opera King Arthur (1691). Co-produced with the Norwegian Opera & Ballet, The Baby Opera Company has developed two opera performances for the little ones: Amor’s warmth and Orpheus consolation. Their aim is to create shows where toddlers and their parents get an aesthetic experience through performance art.
